Hello, thanks to all the dedicated Kaya fans becuase I have decided that I am going to save up for Kaya. I originally didn't like her, but hearing all the comments of those that do, I have been persuaded other wise.
Questions:
Is her meet outfit real leather?
Are her accessories good quality items?
Is she a good quality doll?

We have Kaya, and although I prefer the toothy grinned dolls, she is very pretty. She has been in her meet outfit since July, and DD just put her in the jr. bridesmaid outfit. It actually looks really pretty on her! We have not taken her braids out, and don't intend to unless something tragic happens to them. DD really doesn't play with her much because she doesn't want to mess her hair. We definitely need more native american outfits, though!!

I agree on that she need more outfits. I still don't like her modern day dresses, they just don't have the same appeal. Oh well.

Kaya is pronounced KY-yaah. Kaya is actually a shortened version of her name, but I can't remember what her full name is. My mom has all the books with the doll, so they're too far away for me to look it up.

I think Kaya's things are some of the nicest I've seen. My mom isn't totally enamoured with the teepee because it is so large, but it is extremely good quality. Her accessories are nice, and her foods are GREAT! My mom's favorite thing is her hat; it plays a significant part in her stories as well.

Kaya is beautiful! Her full name is Kaya'atonmy "She who arranges rocks". I loved her books and I love her face and her smile. Her dress is not real leather, it looks and feels like leather but in the catalog it says "All animal products simulated unless otherwise noted." I would recommend her food and her bedroll. Her bedroll looks so warm and cozy I wish I could crawl in there with her. Her food is really nice and some of the berries are magnetic to keep them from getting lost! It is very authentic looking and there's enough food to keep her from going hungry and she can carry the basket on her head.

JoAnn the fence sitter is back to Kaya again.....

OK so, I love her meet dress and all of her clothes I have so far. I think they are wonderful. Her meet dress is a just adorable and has that spot on the fron for the deer tail effect.

We love her jingle dress and have her foods on the way. I do plan on collecting up most of her items. I just will pass on the TeePee, Horse, and sadle. But then Marina might save for those.
If she buys the doll on her own I don't know what I will do!

I love her bed roll. I would love one like that for myself.

I think you can't go wrong with her collection. I do like her things.

Kaya's food is just fantastic. It gets played with a lot. The little fish and grapes that stick together with magnets and the little basket...well, I really love doll food anyway, but these are really cute.

We also have the teepee and I just love it. It's in dd's room and I just love looking at it. It does take up about 2' X 2' of room, but I think it's worth it. I only wish it was big enough for real girls to fit in! My dds would love that!

Yeah, I love Kaya, too!! She was my first doll from AGPC last year I think. I refuse to take out the braids, but I do plan on dressing her in other things. I just ordered her foods and the adorned deerskin dress. Will keep you posted on what I think about them.
